Cookie Policy

What browser storage this website uses for preferences and administrator sign-in, why it is used, and how you can control it. No analytics or advertising trackers are currently implemented in the website source.

Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Similar technologies — such as your browser's local storage — do much the same job. They are used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and sometimes to measure how a site is used or to support advertising.

PECR generally requires consent before storing information on, or accessing information from, a user's device. Limited exceptions exist, including for strictly necessary purposes and certain statistical or appearance-related purposes where all statutory conditions are met. Where no exception applies, consent must be obtained first.

The website source currently implements cookie-choice storage, administrator sign-in storage and an admin sidebar display preference. No analytics or advertising trackers are implemented. Consent-required technologies must remain off until consent; whether a particular preference qualifies for an exception must be assessed on its actual purpose and operation.

Storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you request can be exempt from consent under PECR. Other limited exceptions have their own conditions. The purposes and technologies currently implemented are listed below; you can clear them through your browser, although this may affect the requested service.

The admin sidebar cookie records a display preference. Its precise purpose and any applicable appearance-related exception, including transparency and objection requirements, should be assessed before treating it as exempt.

  • Cookie consent preference — stored in browser local storage under galaxy-cookie-consent-v1. It remembers your choices until you change them or clear browser storage; there is no automatic expiry currently implemented.
  • Administrator authentication — Supabase session information is stored in browser local storage to maintain administrator sign-in. This is used for the restricted Admin Hub, not analytics or advertising.
  • Admin sidebar preference — changing the desktop Admin Hub sidebar writes a sidebar_state cookie with a seven-day lifetime. It is not an analytics or advertising cookie.

Analytics cookies help website owners understand how visitors use their site — which pages are popular, for example. We do not currently use any analytics cookies or similar tracking.

Before introducing analytics, we must assess its purpose, provider, data use and any applicable PECR exception, including any required simple, free way to object. Technology that requires consent must stay off unless you opt in. No analytics technology is currently activated by the choices in our preference settings.

Marketing cookies are used to measure advertising or to show adverts relevant to you. We do not currently use any marketing cookies, and we will not introduce them without updating this policy and obtaining consent first.

A small number of third-party services are involved in delivering this website:

  • Google Fonts — our fonts are loaded from Google's servers. Google may record standard technical information (such as your IP address) when serving the font files.
  • WhatsApp — if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, you leave this website and WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy apply.
  • Supabase — processes sign-in and session information when administrators use the Admin Hub. No Supabase account is required to read the public website.

To confirm before publication: The website hosting provider should be confirmed and listed here once finalised.

An external link does not itself embed a third-party service or prove that it sets a cookie on this website. Provider requests, fonts and any future embedded content should be reviewed separately for transparency and applicable privacy requirements.

Local storage can remain after the browser closes. Cookie preferences remain until changed or deleted. Administrator session storage supports persistent sign-in and is removed by sign-out; deleting it also requires the administrator to sign in again. Session validity is controlled by Supabase. The admin sidebar_state cookie has a seven-day lifetime.

You can change your cookie choice at any time using the button below. You can accept or reject optional categories independently.

You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings. The help pages for your browser explain how; blocking strictly necessary storage may stop parts of the site from working.
